I know kids may like going here but that's probably because they're not pushed or challenged. That's clear just looking at average test scores. You may not think that's a big deal in earlier grades but it has a great impact on their future and this schools staff does not care if your child excels.

In my kids class the teacher has the children turn in stuff on Friday. Which is fine. But then the teacher never has their worksheets or reading logs printed out on time. As I write this it's Thursday and the kids still don't have it, even though it's a weekly log, ie: 5 days to log in your reading.

And then, the teacher forgets to ask the kids for their homework on Friday sometimes but then deducts points off homework when they turn it in late because the teacher didn't ask for it. Every other school, the teacher asks for the homework when it's due. They're kids, they're not going to do stuff one their own all the time so they need to be reminded and told.

Even when ypu go to the university or college before finals, the professor will ask for what was due that day.

Even a college/university will give you a syllabus.

My child's class did not provide him with anything resembling a syllabus.

Yet they expect him to know.

I have reached out 3 times through email.
One time I wrote a note to the teacher that said, "I need you to contact me"

No response.

Next step I'm going to the school to speak with the principal. The teachers actions speaks to the leadership so I will go straight to the top now.
